CIIAM 2024

El CIIAM 2024 will be the meeting point for integration of views of the entire industry on topics of greatest interest for our time.

Our mission is to convene, industry executives and officials, as well as government entities in Mexico or abroad, providing them with a forum to communicate and integrate while allowing them to be aware of the ongoing changes in the business environment so that they can make better fundamental decisions. Further, it can serve as a successful model that can be implemented across country, to help achieve synergy between various functions such as:

Adriana Macouzet

Adriana joined PPG as a Paint Formulator in 1984 and increased gradually its responsibilities in the Coatings business Automotive in Mexico, in areas such as Pretreatment, Planning of Operations, Sales and Marketing. In 1995, she moved to Argentina to develop new business in South America. Adriana returned to Mexico to lead the PPG's Automotive Coating businesses for Latin America. In 2008 she took the position of General Manager for PPG Mexico and later General Manager, North Latin America. In 2016 Mrs. Macouzet assumed her current position as Vice President for PPG Latin America and General Manager of PMC, Latin America. As a promoter of diversity and inclusion, Adriana founded the Latin American Women's Leadership Council of PPG in 2008 and participated in the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion council of PPG.

Alex Canela

Alex Canela is an established executive with 32 years of experience in the IT, automation, and digitalization industry. Since 2018, he has led Siemens Software as Vice President and Country Manager for the Mexico and Central America region, a role from which he has positioned Siemens as a leader in Industrial Digitalization in the country. He is also Vice President of the Industry 4.0 Commission for Concamin where he leads the Digital Transformation and Maturity efforts. He has extensive experience as a CIO, which led him to be recognized three times as one of the most important CIOs in Mexico according to the ranking of CIO Infoworld magazine. He held this role for more than 20 years in different large companies, including General Motors and as head of User Engagement for the entire Americas region at SIEMENS AG.

Diana Quezada

Diana Quezada Ortega is a Senior Analyst at S&P Global Mobility, her primary focus is on electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Her responsibilities include global coverage in the electric vehicle charging research group. Prior to joining the S&P team, Diana worked as a global analyst at Wood Mackenzie, focusing primarily on the power, oil, and gas sector in Latin America. She was also involved in the installation of load infrastructure in Mexico during her tenure at the Comisión Federal de Electricidad. Diana holds an MBA in energy management from the University of Aberdeen with a focus on energy transition. She also holds two Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

Dr. Alejandro Rojo Valerio is Research Professor-Consultant at the Department of Mechanics and Advanced Materials of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey campus. He carries out and coordinates research projects and technological developments related to the Automotive Industry in the Electromobility area by means of validation through tests to vehicles as well as automotive components, where he also supports in the planning, deliverables and coordination of the activities of the TEC Professors-Researchers in the Automotive area. He also brings as a function to be the Leader of the Automotive Design and Manufacturing Thematic Area, on behalf of the School of Engineering and Sciences (EIC) as a support to Continuing Education and Consulting of TEC.

Dr. Miguel Angel Celis

Miguel Ángel Celis has an extensive career in academia as founder of the Universidad Politécnica de Puebla, member of the National System of Researchers and recently rector of the Universidad Tecnológica de Tehuacán. Celis Flores has experience as a postgraduate professor at the Universidad Iberoamericana campus Puebla, Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla, Universidad Anáhuac campus Puebla and Universidad Interamericana. Miguel Ángel Celis Flores, PhD in Science from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Inaoe), is the new rector of the Technological University of Puebla (UTP) for the period 2020-2024.

Emanuel Soto

Promoter of high-performance organizations and driver of multidisciplinary collaborative cultures. Emanuel is currently developing and leading the recent Procurement HUB for ZF in Mexico. With 19 years of international experience in the Automotive, Electronics, Supply Chain and Strategic Planning industries, he has developed and implemented localization and regionalization programs for sustainable industrial ecosystems. He is an Electronic Engineer in Automation and Control from the Technological Institute of Chihuahua, additionally he has a specialization in Design and Flows in Manufacturing. Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Leadership, Strategic Planning, SixSigma and End to End Supply Chain. Francisco Alcalá

Desde julio de 2022 Francisco Alcalá ocupa el cargo de Director de Compras y Red de Proveedores para BMW Group Planta San Luis Potosí, teniendo bajo su responsabilidad las operaciones de compras directas e indirectas con una red de más de 252 proveedores de componentes en el país, surtiendo no solo a la Planta de San Luis Potosí sino a todas las Plantas a nivel global. Francisco inició su carrera en BMW México en 2010 en donde participó en la industrialización de componentes electrónicos para los lanzamientos de los modelos X3, X4, X5 y X6, ensamblados en la Planta de Spartanburg en Carolina del Sur. En paralelo, tuvo un amplio enfoque al desarrollo de proveedores en el país, el cual se ve reflejado en el gran volumen de exportación de componentes a nuestra red global de producción. Esto ha permitido que cada vehículo de BMW Group cuente con al menos un componente fabricado en México. Francisco Alcalá tiene 18 años de experiencia nacional e internacional en el área de desarrollo de nuevos productos, compras, cadena de suministro, calidad y procesos de manufactura. Es Ingeniero Industrial egresado de la Universidad de Guadalajara y cuenta con un Diplomado en Ingeniería de Calidad para la Industria Electrónica Automotriz por la Universidad Panamericana.

Francisco Garza

Con una trayectoria de más de 23 años en la Industria Automotriz en México y en diversos países. En 1998 se unió a General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) donde ocupó el cargo de Gerente de Operaciones, siendo responsable del lanzamiento del Programa de Garantía Extendida en México. En 2001 fue ascendido a Director de Ventas y Mercadeo para México, fue responsable de la estrategia de programas de financiamiento de General Motors. Su primera asignación internacional fue en 2005 cuando fue ascendido a Presidente del Directorio y Gerente General de GMAC en Ecuador; Luego de esta designación, fue designado Presidente del Directorio y Director General de GMAC en Argentina y, en 2009, asumió el cargo de Presidente del Directorio y Director General de GM Financial México, siendo el primer mexicano en tomar las riendas de esta negocio. En 2011 fue designado Vicepresidente de Ventas, Servicio y Mercadeo de General Motors de México, Centroamérica y el Caribe, y a partir del 1 de septiembre de 2019 fue ascendido a Presidente y Director General. En este puesto, es responsable de los negocios de Exportación y Mercado Nacional.

Hugo Cruz

Hugo Cruz is a senior analyst at S&P Global Mobility, where he works in the battery team, researching automotive companies' electrification strategies, battery technology trends, and the supply chains of components and minerals used in their manufacture. With over a decade of experience in the energy and electronics sectors, he has held positions in engineering, R&D, entrepreneurship, and public policy. Hugo holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy from Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) and an Electronics Engineering degree from UNAM (Mexico). He also holds certifications in data analysis and project management (PMP).

Irina Sánchez

Irina Sanchez has more than 20 years of experience in the Automotive Industry. She is an Electronic Engineer and MBA from the University of the Americas Puebla and Texas A&M respectively. Spanish is her native language, fluent in English, and Portuñol in case of emergencies. During her professional career she worked in companies such as Grupo Rassini and Magna International, with different international assignments, responsible for the areas of Sales, Program Management, Engineering and Supply Chain serving Light and Heavy Vehicle Assemblers, and the main Tier 1's. She has been with S&P Global Mobility (formerly IHS) for more than 7 years. She is in charge of Business Development and Sales in Latin America, focusing mainly on Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. Her goal is to offer S&P Global Mobility solutions to different players in the Automotive Industry to support them in their strategic decisions and business development.

Juan Pablo Martín del Campo

Presidente de la Asociación Mexicana de Fabricantes e Importadores de Motocicletas, A.C. (AMFIM) Juan Pablo Martín del Campo es ingeniero industrial y cuenta con una amplia experiencia en el sector de motocicletas, principalmente consolidando marcas en el mercado mexicano. Junto con su abuelo y padre ha logrado posicionar en México diferentes marcas de motocicletas. En 2021 fue electo Presidente de la Asociación Mexicana de Fabricantes e Importadores de Motocicletas, A.C. (AMFIM), cargo por el que fue reelecto por un año más en 2022 para continuar abanderando la consolidación de la Asociación. Además de liderar a la AMFIM es Presidente y CEO, Triumph Motorcycles de México.

Javier Valadez

Graduado en Negocios Internacionales por el Tec de Monterrey y cuenta con más de 10 años de experiencia en la industria automotriz, relaciones gubernamentales y asuntos corporativos. Trabajó en Audi México como Coordinador de Comunicación y Asuntos Gubernamentales durante el proceso de instalación del Green Field de la empresa hasta el inicio de la producción. Posteriormente, durante su estadía en la empresa danesa LEGO, estuvo a cargo de los asuntos gubernamentales para América Latina con sede en la Ciudad de Monterrey. Actualmente es Director de Operaciones México para la empresa americana PACCAR, llevando Asuntos Corporativos y Responsabilidad Social de Kenworth Mexico. A la par, es miembro activo del Think Tank de Asuntos Internacionales COMEXI. Javier reside en la Ciudad de México y tiene un MBA del IPADE Business School.

Luz Elena del Castillo

Luz Elena del Castillo, quien lleva más de 25 años en la industria automotriz, de los cuales más de 12 dentro de Ford. En Ford, Luz Elena ha tenido varias posiciones, incluyendo la Dirección General de Ford Colombia en 2008, la Dirección General para Puerto Rico, Centroamérica y el Caribe* en 2017, y desde 2021 es la tercera presidenta en asumir el liderazgo de la compañía en México. fue la primera mujer en liderar la filial de Centroamérica y el Caribe de la compañía. Tomó este cargo en 2017 y desde 2021 dirige la operación de México. Previo a su ingreso a la compañía, trabajó para la Sociedad de Fabricación de Automotores, una alianza entre Toyota y Renault en Colombia. Con más de 25 años de experiencia en la industria automotriz de los cuales 12 dentro de Ford, del Castillo lidera las operaciones de la región que incluyen marketing, ventas, servicio y supervisará el desarrollo de producto, compras y las plantas de manufactura.

I joined Daimler Group in 2018 as Head of Regulatory Affairs and in 2020, I was appointed responsible for institutional relations of Daimler Truck Group companies in Mexico to establish and execute stakeholder engagement strategies, participating in the development of public policies for the benefit of society, as well as the alignment and execution of the sustainability strategy of the Group's companies.

Margarita Alcántara Alcalá

Political scientist from ITESM, and Master in Public Policy from King's College London. She also has postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics. Her office has played an active role in the presentation of the "Diagnosis and Recommendations for the Transition of the Automotive Industry", carried out by the U.S.-Mexico High Level Working Group for the Electrification of Transportation. Marie-Alsace Galindo Roel

A native of Mexico City and a Michigan resident since 2004, Marie-Alsace is currently the general counsel for BorgWarner's Mexican operations. Previously, she was the general counsel for Delphi Technologies' Mexican operations. Her prior experience was with various law firms in both Michigan and Mexico, including Baker Tilly, Miller Canfield, Butzel Long and Von Wobeser y Sierra. She is also Vice President of Friends on Board Foundation/Mexicanas in Michigan, a member of the Detroit Chapter of the Global MX Network and is constantly involved in community activities.

Martha Cabrera

In her current position at Yazaki, Martha Cabrera plays a key role in conducting strategic negotiations and establishing relationships with Mexico's federal and state governments. In addition, her role involves liaising with industry associations and chambers, strengthening alliances and promoting effective industry collaboration. It is worth noting that Martha's experience goes beyond her work at Yazaki, as she also serves as an advisor to the National Auto Parts Association (INA). Nazareth Black

Nazareth Black, who is also CEO of Car Fast and is considered one of the most inclusive women in the automotive industry in Mexico, is a pioneer in digital business, which is why she is in charge of Zacua, the first Mexican electric car brand. is to contribute to white and responsible mobility. In 2017 Nazareth led the first Mexican electric car brand, an ambitious project that includes the manufacture, marketing and maintenance of the MX2 and MX3 models. Peter Hall

Mr. Hall’s most recent position before his retirement in 2021 was Vice President and Chief Economist at EDC. Having over 30 years of experience in economic analysis and forecasting, Mr. Hall was responsible for overseeing EDC’s economic analysis, country risk assessments, and corporate research groups. Besides providing strategic advice to senior management at EDC, Mr. Hall regularly provided commentary on the world economy and Canadian international trade issues on television, radio and print media, which he continues to do. Mr. Hall also participates as a guest speaker at numerous conferences, international roundtables and policy forums.

Rodolfo Valadez

Mr. Rodolfo Valadez Coria is a graduate of Tec de Monterrey with a degree in Administrative Electrical Engineering, generation 87, with several diplomas in Government Relations, Sustainability and Lean manufacturing in Washington, Japan, Cincinnati and Mexico. He is a Government Relations executive with regional experience in the automotive and consumer goods industry in Latin America, where he worked for more than a decade, with regional assignments, and in Brazil and Colombia. He has managed the external relations of companies, their production plants and distribution centers, focusing on strategies for Government and Community Relations, Corporate Communications, Social Responsibility and Sustainability programs.

Javier Valadez

Graduated in International Business from Tec de Monterrey and has more than 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, government relations and corporate affairs. He worked at Audi Mexico as Communications and Government Affairs Coordinator during the installation process of the company's Green Field until the start of production.
