What is CIIAM?

CIIAM 2023

El CIIAM 2023 will be the meeting point for integration of views of the entire industry on topics of greatest interest for our time.

Our mission is to convene, industry executives and officials, as well as government entities in Mexico or abroad, providing them with a forum to communicate and integrate while allowing them to be aware of the ongoing changes in the business environment so that they can make better fundamental decisions. Further, it can serve as a successful model that can be implemented across country, to help achieve synergy between various functions such as:

With a history of more than 23 years in the Automotive Industry in Mexico and in various countries. In 1998 he joined General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) where he held the position of Operations Manager, being responsible for the launch of the Extended Warranty Program in Mexico. In 2001, he was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing for Mexico, he was responsible for the strategy of financing programs for General Motors. His first international assignment was in 2005 when he was promoted as Chairman of the Board and General Manager for GMAC in Ecuador; After this assignment, he was appointed Chairman of the Board and General Director for GMAC in Argentina and, in 2009, he took the position of Chairman of the Board and General Director of GM Financial Mexico, being the first Mexican to take the reins of this business. In 2011 he was appointed Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing for General Motors of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, and as of September 1, 2019 he was promoted to President and CEO. In this position he is responsible for both Export and Domestic Market businesses. General Motors has been in Mexico for 85 years, selling Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles and has production plants in Coahuila, Guanajuato, SLP, State of Mexico; a Regional Engineering Center, Parts Warehouse in Toluca and Corporate Offices in CDMX; being the number one employer in the industry with 21,000 direct employees and the main producer and exporter in the sector.

Guido Vildozo manages the automotive light vehicle sales forecast for the Americas for the Automotive Group at IHS Markit. Vildozo´s primary responsibility is to monitor industry trends and to develop the light vehicle sales forecast for the Americas market. To this end, he looks at the impact of product planning and strategy - as well as regional political and economic factors - on vehicle demand. Guido specializes in manufacturers' product cycles, production capacity constraints, investments and import-export strategies.

Abugaber Andonie owns the Calzado Comando company, founded more than 80 years ago. Together with their brother, they are the third generation of a family of industrialists that has generated more than 700 sources of direct employment. With more than 25 years of experience, he has been president of the Industrial Chamber of Footwear of the State of Guanajuato and of the Business Coordinating Council of León, he has had the opportunity to serve industrialists and the productive sector of his state and Mexico, of Likewise, he has been part of the Board of Directors of Concamin for 12 years, which has allowed him to know the challenges and problems of the national industry.

Medina is founder and president of the Board of Directors of CompuSoluciones, a wholesale company integrating information and communications technology solutions, professor at IPADE (Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresa), and participates in the advice of several companies such as Endeavor de Occidente, Nafinsa and Banamex. Graduated in Civil Engineering, he has two master's degrees from Stanford University (in systems engineering and another in finance), as well as a doctorate in Engineering Project Management from the same university. Medina has been listed among the 100 most important entrepreneurs in Mexico, and in 2011, the business organization EY named him Entrepreneur of the Year in the information technology sector, and in 2012, Endeavor de Occidente recognized him for his business career.

He joined Lear nearly 20 years ago as a director of wiring operations in Mexico and has since held several leadership positions around the world in our Seating and E-Systems Operations. Oscar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Chihuahua and a Master of Engineering Management from Michigan University. He is also actively involved in his local community and serves as President of United Way Chihuahua.
