With a history of more than 23 years in the Automotive Industry in Mexico and in various countries. In 1998 he joined General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) where he held the position of Operations Manager, being responsible for the launch of the Extended Warranty Program in Mexico.
In 2001, he was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing for Mexico, he was responsible for the strategy of financing programs for General Motors. His first international assignment was in 2005 when he was promoted as Chairman of the Board and General Manager for GMAC in Ecuador; After this assignment, he was appointed Chairman of the Board and General Director for GMAC in Argentina and, in 2009, he took the position of Chairman of the Board and General Director of GM Financial Mexico, being the first Mexican to take the reins of this business.
